オレゴン独自のコーヒーブランド、Allan Bros. Coffeeのファンの方いませんか？私はあの香りと味わいは世界一だと思います。あのコーヒーを求めて日本からユージーンによく足を運んでいます。

掲示板を初めて利用させていただきます。 1996年秋～1997年春まで、Linguistics Dep.に交換留学生として入学していた、Takamoriという男性を探しています。 Takamoriが苗字なのか、名前なのかも、分かりません。東北地方の大学3年生で、姉妹校としての交換留学生でした。課題を手伝ったもらうなど、大変お世話になり、10年たっていますが、お礼が言いたいです。どなたか、ご存知のかたが見えましたら、教えてください。

来年にオレゴン大学の語学学校の方に留学を考えているのですが春期、夏期、秋期、冬期と授業が二ヶ月ずつらしいんですがのこりの４ヶ月は休みなんですか？

　こんにちは。温暖化問題を心配している「てら」です。　毎日の生活で二酸化炭素をたくさん出すものとして、電気と自動車の使用が挙げられています。　しかし、車で１０キロ走るのと、パソコンを１時間使うのとでは、一体どちらが、どれだけの二酸化炭素を出しているのでしょう？　それを調べて、私のHPの「エッセイ２６６」で書いてみました。ちょっと驚く結果ですが、ご覧になってみて下さい。

Send your kids to Eugene to visit the U of O before committing to anything more. Give them a chance to look around and talk to Japanese students already here. I can provide room and board, and any degree of "hand-holding" they might need. E-mail me and we can talk about it!

レンタカーという手もあるのですね、よかった！参考になりましたありがとうございました。他の質問なのですが、雨が多いそうですがうっとおしいほどの雨量なのでしょうか、それともシャワーのような降っていても傘なしで歩けるような雨なのですか？

アウトレットと車について

過去の二つの質問についてお答えします。ウッドバーンのアウトレットは車で行くしかありません。オレゴン大に留学される場合、車があった方が行動範囲は断然広がります。ただ、週末などアウトレットや、各所の観光地を巡るだけの目的であれば、レンタカーを週末格安料金で借りる方がおすすめです。話は変わりますが、現在ユージーンに住んでいますが、私事で１０月末に日本へ帰ります、その際車も手放しますので、よかったらお譲りしてもいいですよ。メール宛まで連絡ください。P。S。靖国の件面白そうですね。knightの方にあるのかな？
